About Us
Miguel Juncal was born and raised in Miami Florida. He spent most of his time among nature climbing trees, playing sports and observing wildlife. As a result, he developed a passion for the outdoors and other nature inspired hobbies. Drawing was his first method of capturing images that inspired him. As he grew older painting and photography were other techniques he became skilled in. Miguel was first introduced to landscape design through television and after some research he decided to pursue a Degree in Landscape Architecture. The profession allowed him to use his passions for nature, science, and art to improve the quality of life for both humans and wildlife.
Miguel graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2004, obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Environmental Studies. He then worked for a large multi-disciplinary firm for several years. Here he was able to tune his skills while working on a variety of projects both locally and abroad. Some of the projects he worked on included residential, commercial, passive and active parks, school board, FDOT, community developments, mitigation, irrigation, urban design, planning, site layouts and streetscapes. The experience gave him an understanding on creating spaces which is a key focus of Miguel’s residential design
